Krupp Servery as well as the IUB guest house were victims of two very serious acts of vandalism last night, as all who were awoken by the fire alarm in Krupp in the wee hours of the morning can attest. Fire extinguishers were used by as-yet unidentified assailants to damage property within the cafeteria and cars without.
Police have opened a case concerning the whole affair. This is one of the worst cases of vandalism IUB has yet had to deal with, specifically because it is necessary to pay the fire brigade who came automatically due to the fire alarm being set off.
Porters saw three figures running from the scene of the crime but had to follow protocol and make sure there were no serious fires in Krupp before being able to pursue the trio. Updates on the incident are expected to develop within the next few days. |
